Grace is a beautiful 2-year-old German Shepherd. On the shy side now as she adjusts to a new situation, she welcomes pets and attention when she's had the chance to get to know you. She comes out of her kennel a bit cautiously, and needs some basic training including on the leash (a free basic obedience session with a professional trainer comes with her adoption). Grace does enjoy the company of other canines, meeting them well and walking better when next to them. She also does really well in a playgroup; although shy at first, she interacts and does better when she has other dogs around, actually becoming more confident and relaxed. She is content to be hanging by their side and at times approaches the attendants for petting. Being a German Shepherd, it is a given that this beautiful girl is bright, loyal and eager to please; all she needs is a home that will provide her with loving guidance and the time she needs in order to become the self-assured, mannerly young lady she is meant to be.
